Ocean Blue Restaurant

Making your way to Cape Point, at the southwestern point of the African continent, there are many scrumptious restaurants where tourists, as well as locals, can enjoy the fresh ingredients that come together like a work of art. Enjoying the greenery, mountains and seashore along the drive, a good meal would be satisfying to top off the tour. Ocean Blue Restaurant, situated in Camps bay, is another one of Cape Town's most popular seafood restaurants. While dining you have a beautiful ocean view, seated in the unique and subtle seaside restaurant. Their menu consists of appetizing seafood dishes, pizzas, pastas and they even serve red and white meat. Their great service definitely makes them well worth the visit.

Wharfside Grill

A lunch stop at the famous Wharfside Grill at Mariner’s Wharf in Hout Bay, the first harbourfront emporium in Africa, is an excellent idea. This restaurant is open 7 days a week and one can have breakfast, lunch or supper. They are known for their tantalising, sea-fresh dishes and remarkable view of the busy harbour, making this stop worth the visit.

Next on the fine dining list is the Food Barn. They are situated in Noordhoek, surrounded by countless plants and trees. The food at this restaurant is appetising and delightfully tasty and is enjoyed in the more relaxed and casual atmosphere of a decorated barn. This restaurant would be the place to have a great feast.

Two Oceans Restaurant

Nestled at the Southernmost tip of Africa, we cannot forget about the Two Oceans Restaurant. This vibrant restaurant is situated at Cape Point, where there is always live action entertainment occurring at the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. While passing through the nature reserve, en route to the Two Oceans restaurant, you may come across animals, fynbos, monuments and, of course, beautiful beaches. When entering at the South African National Park, a fee will be charged, regardless of you dining at the restaurant or not. The relaxed atmosphere of the refurbished Two Oceans restaurant makes it a unique place to dine. The menu is absolutely authentic with tantalising sensations of different seafood dishes, red meat, white meat and mouth-watering desserts, all while overlooking the ocean right in front of your eyes. This is definitely the place to feast at when visiting the National Park, and always a stop for both tourists and locals.

Black Marlin restaurant

Next up is the Black Marlin, which was once a whaling station, situated on the coast near Simon's town. En route to this fantastic restaurant, between June and November, you may find some whales swimming close-by or, if you’re lucky enough, you could even see them breaching out of the water. The Black Marlin is known for their mouth-watering seafood dishes and have a selection of cool drinks and wines. Their excellent and relaxing service, as well as the spectacular view, definitely make them worth the visit.

Seaforth restaurant

En route through Simon’s Town, another fascinating place to dine would be Seaforth Restaurant. This restaurant is on the beachfront of Seaforth beach. Here you have both the sea and mountains providing a spectacular view. Their specialty would be the seafood dishes, but you can order white or red meat off their menu as well. Harbour View restaurant

Then, of course, there would be the vibrant Harbour View restaurant situated in the picturesque harbour of Simon’s Town.
