Cape Point Prices. Cape of Good Hope. Things to do, opening times
Entrance Fees
Cape Point entrance fees increase as of November 2018.
According to Joep Stevens the National Parks general Manager the price should have increased in 2003 with the Table Mountain prices. However the prices at the Cape of Good Hope National Park never escalated.
The plan to unfold the new pricing strategies is design to be effective as of November 2018. The locals would now have the opportunity to afford the Cape of Good Hope entrance fees who has been paying the same price as the international tourist for many years. A comparative analysis has been made across the national parks to aid the decision made. The locals would be paying half the price for 2018 in comparison to 2017 and the international guest would be paying double of 2017.
In order for locals to benefit from this strategy they would have to provide a proof of address.
