The Southern Right Whale visits our shoreline during the months of June and Dec.
Experience the Southern Right Whale with an up-close 2 to 3 hour encounter in the Whale spotting capital of Hermanus.
We leave Cape Town early morning on a 2 hour drive heading along the False Bay towards Hermanus. Hermanus offers spectacular views of the amazing Atlantic shore line. Our Boat trip is a wonderful experience with friendly staff and our experienced local guides to show you around. We might also spot Dolphins, Sharks, Seals, other whales and sea birds.

We board the cruiser in Hermanus for a 2 to 3 hour ride exploring the Southernright Whale
Hermanus whale watching is a big attraction for the Western Cape.
The Southern Right Whale uses our shores in the False Bay for breeding every year. The Southern right whale got its name from pouches in the past as to them it was the right whale for pouching because of how slow it moves in the ocean.
Join us for a spectacular whale watching full day tour that includes additional highlights. It's approximately 2-3 hour drive outside of Cape Town. We explore Clarence drive, the beautiful scenic route along the False Bay area which consist of beaches, mountains, picnic spots, camping sites, flowers and wildlife. The smaller towns and cities along the route makes the tour interesting.
Breathe in the fresh air on the journey at our spectacular first stop Strand beach or Somerset West small city. It's amazing to see a city built all along the beach which attracts many locals and tourist to the area. The stop at Gordon's Bay lookout is close to the Hanglip Mountains what we see in the distance are beaches and Mountains as far as the eye could see.

We also could take the drive into the township in Hermanus and experience what some of the conditions are like in South Africa. (Drive through only no stopping) Once we reach the habour of Hermanus we collect your tickets and a brief presentation is given of the whales.
Other whales that possibly also could be spotted are the Brydes whale, Humpback whale and the Southern right whale. More of these amazing creatures could also be spotted like Dolphins and a smaller possibility of sharks. The boat tour is between 2-3 hours long depending on how soon the whales are spotted.
Light snacks are given on the boat which is included in the ticket purchase.
Final stop on the tour is the town of Hermanus. The petite town of Hermanus consist of pathways for whale watching, small markets, restaurants and wildlife. Have a lunch and admire the ocean or buy strawberries and chocolate and enjoy a stroll along the pathway.
We make our way via the N2 back to the city of Cape Town.
