    Day 1 Cape Town - Oudthoorn Cango Caves

    Day 1 Ostrich Farm Oudthoorn is known as the Ostrich Capital of the world. We take a 1 hour Ostrich tour. We feed the Ostriches and get up close to them.

    Day 1 Cango Cave wildlife range (Optional) Cango Cave Wild Life ranch is one of Oudthoorn unique animal encounters. Some of the animals include white tigers. Alligator cage diving is an option at the Cango Cave Wild Range.

    Day 1 Overnight Overnight in Oudthoorn

    Day 2 Oudthoorn - Knysna We enjoy a 2 hour drive passing by the beautiful Outinique Mountains. We pass by the Indian ocean and many amazing holiday resorts along route

    Day 2 Knysna Heads The Knysna Heads is one of the main activities to do in Knysna. The trial is approximatly 20 mins long with dramatic views over the Indian Ocean and its lagoons.

    Day 2 Knysna Waterfront visit-guest are given the time to explore the Knysna markets before the sunset cruise.

    Knysna day 2 John Benn cruise- included in the tour is the floating boat cruise. John Benn travels across the lagoons of Knysna. Dinner is at the guest own account

    Day 3 Knysna - Tsitikama Tsisikama- is one of the main highlights on the Garden Route tour. Tsitsikama offers many activities like river rafting and bungee jumping.

    Day 3 Plettenberg Bay We do a 5.5 km hiking trial along the coast of Plettenberg Bay.

    Day 3 Plettenberg Bay Optional lunch stop with a walk along the beach before heading towards Tsitsikama Big tree.

    Day 3 Tsitsikama big tree visit Big Tree-once we've reached Tsitsikama we enjoy a little walk towards the oldest tree in South Africa.

    Day 3 Tsitsikama bloukrans bridge Blougrans bridge is a lovely walk along the bridge to see the magnificent mountain valleys of Tsitsikama.

    Day 4 Tsitsikama-Mossel Bay Mossel Bay-Mossel Bay is a commercial town en route to the Garden Route. Mossel Bay is known for its rich history and its beautiful beaches along the coastline.

Day 1 (Cape Town-Outdhoorn)

Our adventure begins the morning with a pick up at your Cape Town hotel heading via route 62 towards Outdhoorn. Route 62 is one of the longest wine routes in Southern Africa. Popular activities along route is wine tasting, canoeing, skydiving, 4x4 safaris and many more.

Once reaching our destination in Oudthoorn also referred to as the Ostrich capital in the world. We visit the Ostrich farm for a tour which is included in the price. We spend approximately 2 hours at the Ostrich farm with an optional lunch stop. After lunch we head towards South Africa’s amazing rock caves. The Cango caves are one of South Africa’s most popular caves which has beautiful paintings from the stone age people. We experience a guided tour to see various chambers within the caves dating back millions of years ago.

Excluded on the itinerary :
Our final visit for the day is the Cango Cave wildlife ranch. The Cango Cave wildlife ranch is a unique zoo which holds many animals. The Cango Cave wildlife ranch is unique for its animal encounters with the cheaters or be adventurous and swim with the alligators. Check in your 4-star accommodation

Day 2 (Outdhoorn-Knysna)

After breakfast we head for a 2-hour drive towards Knysna via the Outeniqua mountains. The Outeniqua Mountains is a beautiful mountain past crossing all the way to George. We stop for a few pics on the cliff of the mountains to relax. Once we’ve reached the beautiful town of Knysna surrounded by lagoons, ocean and hills we head straight towards the Knysna heads. At the Knysna heads we take the walk to see strong ocean currents with a possibility of spotting Whales in close proximity. We also see amazing views of the lagoons and the Knysna waterfront. After the Knysna heads we explore the little town of Knysna. A must see is the waterfront and flea market stalls which characterises Africa with its arts and crafts. Guest are given the opportunity to explore the town on their own before getting ready for the popular sunset cruise on the lagoon with its floating restaurant. The sunset cruise is included in the tour; however, dinner is at your own account.Overnight in Knysna at your 4-star accommodation

Day 3 (Knysna-Tsitsikama)

We head in the morning leaving Knysna heading towards Plettenberg Bay. Plettenberg is a beautiful little town situated along the Indian ocean. Its gorgeous beaches attract locals and tourist to Plettenberg bay all year round. Once we’ve reached Plettenberg Bay we head towards Rubberg Mountain hiking trial to enjoy a 5.5 km walk surrounded by ocean currents and tranquil stops overlooking the greater Plettenberg Bay. On the trial there is a possibility of spotting Whales, Dolphins, Sharks and the Cape Fur Seals.

After the hiking trial we make our way to the Plettenberg beach to relax and soak up some sun or take a dip in the waters. This would be our optional lunch stop as well. Later the afternoon we make our way to one of the most amazing areas which was home to the Khoi. Tsitsikama is surrounded by forest, fynbos, trials, and many adventure activities.

Day 4 (Tsitsikama-Mossel Bay)

After breakfast we enjoy the Tsitsikama activities before making our way to Mossel Bay. Our first stop is the Storms river mouth where we visit the suspended bridge. The suspended bridge is a trail heading towards the top of the mountain surrounded by ocean currents. Once we reached the top of the hill we see the suspended bridge built in the early years which crosses over from one mountain to another over the Indian Ocean. We relax and spend some time enjoying the views before making our way to the Big tree. The Big tree is one of the largest trees in the world standing at over 800 years old. It’s a yellow wood tree with a height of 36metres. We enjoy a relaxing walk to the tree before making our way to Mossel Bay.

After a long day we head towards Mossel Bay. Mossel Bay dates back to the early days of the European navigators who settled at the destination when they were unable to reach India. Mossel Bay also dates back to the early natives of South Africa who lived along the coast of the Indian ocean and commonly used the land as a hunting ground. Today, Mossle Bay is a commercialised hub approximately 5 hours’ drive from Cape Town.

Day 5 (Mossel Bay – Cape Town)

Enjoy the morning in Mossel Bay heading towards the Mossel Bay lookout point. We take the hill to the top cave which was home to the natives in the olden days. We enjoy a relaxing day to further explore Mossel Bay before heading towards the two oceans meeting point at Cape Algulhus.

Once we’ve reached the Cape Agulhas we explore the light house which overlooks the greater town and oceans. We climb the ladder to the top of the light house for an unforgettable experience knowing that we at the point where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Later the day before heading back to Cape Town where stand at the meeting point of the two oceans. Arrival time back to Cape Town is approximately 5pm depending on traffic.

Everything we wanted and more. Our guide knew the area so well that we managed to escape queues and make the most of our time. His knowledge of the history brought it all to life. Lovely guy. We were so impressed and so pleased we chose these tours for our first time in South Africa. Absolutely first class and would definitely recommend to anyone!
