Signal Hill separates the city bowl from the Sea Point area. Signal Hill is approximately 350metres in height and has spectacular views overlooking the Robben Island and Green Point Fifa 2010 World Cup Stadium.

Lions Head
The Lions Head Mountain is situated between Table Mountain and Signal Hill and reaches a height of approximately 2195 feet, 669 metres above sea level.
Lions Head forms part of Table Mountain National park . The organization stretches all the way to Cape Point. The peak is also known as Leeuwen Kop, Afrikaans for (Lions Head).
Lions Head was named by the Dutch in the 17th century. The Dutched called Signal Hill Leeuwen Start (Lions Tail in the Afrikaans language). The Shape of Lions head seemed to the ditched as a crouching lions or sphinx.

Hiking, which approximately takes one and a half hours to hike up.

The type of Rock found here are Sandstone and Cape Granite. The lions Head is unique to the floral kingdom with its unique Fynbos . The word fynbos is a Dutch word which refers to fine bush/leafy bush.
Devils Peak
Devils Peak derived its name from the contest between the local pirate Van Hunks and the South Eastly clouds which moves up towards the top of the mountain, this was perceived by Van Hunks as the Devil who is smoking.
Devils peak reaches a height of a 1000 metres above sea level and the mountain is the backdrop to Cape Town.
Devils Peak was of the first Mountain whereby Jan Van Riebeeck who was part of the Dutch East India Company had their farms.
The Cecil John Rhodes hand work could also be found on Devils Peak.
There are also a number of military block houses and cannons found on the mountain. The Devils Peak mountain also holds many hiking trails towards the mountain tops.
Table Mountain.
The most popular and most visited mountain in Cape Town if not South Africa.
Table Mountain can be visited by taking a guided tour, the hop on bus or on your own. Access to the Table Top is free but the cable car ride is charged for and must be booked. Bookings can be done online or on arrival. The cable car wait can be as short as a few minutes or as long as two hours. Access to Table Mountain via the cable car is restricted on windy and rainy days so plan ahead.
Table Mountain also has a restaurant and two curios stores. There is alot to see and do on Table Mountain , most visitors take the climb or cable way for its amazing beauty and breath taking scenery.
